My car turn 14 today

Have just looked at my spreadsheet of all the cost over the year for my diesel Corsa.

14 years, 87k miles.

Mot(plus repair when failed) £560
Service £1060
Repair £1405
Insurance £6980
Fuel £9115
Total £19120

Will admit I don't do service every year. (I know.... I know.... I should at least do oil change)

What about depreciation? How much per mile, did it cost more when the car was newer and had a high value but lower running costs?

Happy Birthday to your car.  Ours will be 28 next March (and it's still worth only £3,500 less than we bought it for).  Just saying......!
