Hi All
This post consists of 5 template letters (of 9 pages in all) which were sent between May and October 2021, and which succeeded in scotching Met Parking and CST Law's claims and threats. After my last letter of October 2021, sent directly to the head solicitor of CST Law, (Removed by Forum Team), I have heard not a peep out of them. Hope it helps someone.

    That's great well done!
But it was never going to court anyway, only one case like this ever went to court that we know of, and the judge threatened the claimant's solicitor with a few nights at one of her Majesty's hotels, (the toothbrush case) no one has dared since.
That Driver and Vehicle Site Presence form is laughable, what sort of restaurant would allow a third party to go around asking paying customers if they owned VRN number XXXXXX, or go into the toilets spying on people.
As you say if there was evidence the occupants left site they would need to prove it, along with a plan of the site boundaries. But in any case as they are supposed to be a parking management company (rather that a scamming company) their dozy attendant has a duty to stop people from breaking the rules not watch them.

Well fought. For future reference please note that these are not fines, nor will you get a summons.

Leaving site is virtually unprovable for a PPC and is one of the easiest to deal with. Just don't get complacent. PPCs (and anyone else for that matter) have six years to commence a court claim. If you move home before March 2027, send a rectification notice to the DPO of MET instructing them to erase your data and replace it with your new address for service.
Make sure you use the word I have highlighted.

CST Law are just the Debt Recovery Plus group. No solicitor is involved.

Court claims from CST (and indeed from MET) are as rare as hen's teeth.

MET are off their little trolley with the "Driver and Vehicle Site Presence"

If it did go to court, it won't, they have now opened the door for the McD's staff to become a witness ...... what a crazy bunch, typical BPA money scammers
