Appeal denied by the IAS what next? What are my chances?

Good afternoon, first post here so a proper newbie!

Christ I have made so many mistakes after reading these forums feeling very silly... here's my story I went to park in a full car park whilst on holiday. Was instructed to park in the 'overflow' a 100 yards away I then paid for parking in said overflow, but what I didn't realise is that the two car parks were separate from each other and paid to park in essentially the wrong car park. I have tried contacting the landowner but it's leased to a third party and they won't give me their details, My charge was £60 early payment, now I have appealed it's £100 and next week it will reach £170 from Alliance Parking

I'm struggling financially as many are and this has been a really anxiety inducing experience, any support on what to do next? I read so many that say don't pay but i'm scared of court action etc

Thanks in advance!

  • Thanks, have checked those out and yes i did miss a couple... You're incredibly helpful so thanks for all of your work on this issue. I'm just petrified of going to court etc and struggle with anxiety so as you can imagine i'm sweating at the minute. Are the chances high that this will end in me going to court?

    What is petrifying you?

    Have you seen this video?...

    www.youtube.com/watch?v=n93eoaxhzpU

Just three or four people sitting round a table having a discussion.

That video was made a few years ago and most hearings nowadays seem to be via telephone or video link.

Of course the IAS denied your appeal, it is a scam organisation protecting their members.

Government gave the IPC/IAS ATA status ... at the time they never knew it was a scam setup ..... THEY DO NOW

Government should NOW terminate them if they wish to live up to Sunak's plegdes of fairness and transparencty

    Don't worry about that.

NO-ONE here pays nasty Alliance Parking (search the forum for bouncy Kev).

  • Thanks, out of interest how many PCN go all the way to court vs when they give up chasing? I guess it must be the ones they are more confident on winning? Today is my last day before the dreaded price increases to £170

A very low % of PCNs go to court and I hope it will be even less likely after the DLUHC's IA is published.  If the false fees are banned that will put a spanner in the works of the current conveyor belt of bulk litigation.
