So, we're selling our house and have this issue - we've been here and a couple of years and not noticed it doesn't mention waste on our water bill - when we bought the house the seller stated it was on mains.
Now we're selling the buyers solicitor (understandably) is stopping the sale until this can be resolved - any one got any idea how long the Water board will take to resolve this (or any experience of this problem) as the sale is due to complete in the next few weeks?
Thanks

Not really a mortgages question, you'd be better asking to move this to the House Buying board. You might also want to tell us where you are so we know which "water board" is the relevant one (admittedly your username might be a clue!).1

Welcome @welshwiggler. The forum is vast and it can be difficult to find your way round.I’ll request a move to the housing board that can be found here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/house-buying-renting-selling
it may be worth looking for similar issues on the water board: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/water-billsI'm a Forum Ambassador on The Coronavirus Boards as well as the housing, mortgages and student money saving boards. All sorted - spoke to Welsh Water - explained we should be billed for sewage and water, they re issue this years bill which we paid (got most of it back as we've now completed the sale)
