Balance transfer from card A to B then back

Hi all,

I wanted to check if this would work.

I have recently transferred some balances to card A, card A has a mix of interest free, interest bearing (2.5k) and headroom to the limit. I have an interest free offer on the card but no other interest bearing debt to transfer.

I have 2 Barclaycard with a zero balance and a virgin card with a zero balance. I won't get another 0 new card deal as I this month got one. I don't have any zero offer from barc or virgin but am hoping I will do later.

I DO have a offer from virgin to transfer to them at my standard rate with 5 fee.

Will it work if I transfer 2.5k to Virgin and pay the 5% (125), the transfer back to card A and take advantage of the offer. By incurring 125 fee from virgin I will be giving up almost 3 months of the interest free benefit from Card A.

As I can see I need to make sure all the earlier BT values are statemented in Card A before i do the 2.5 to virgin?

Anyone see any issues?
