Hello, are there any tax credits or deductions or similar for the first child if we as a couple earn more than £90k together? Thanks

New claims for tax credits can no longer be made but you would be eligible for Child Benefit.

No tax deduction exist for having a child.

You can no longer claim tax credits- only UC which you will not be entitled to with that level on income.

Child Benefit is available but it either of you have an adjusted net income of more than £50k you will need to pay irr back on a sliding scale up to adjusted net income of £60k when it all needs paid back,

Child Benefit can be claimed but payment declined to preserve the  credit that it gives for NIC.
