Promo rate not reinstated

I've had a series of problems with Virgin Credit Card. Can't get through to them tonight after latest error which saw a direct debit they confirmed by email was cancelled coming out today.
What I'd like advice on is my whole balance was on 0%. My previous direct debit bounced but I phoned and explained and paid in full the following day. Was told I would not lose my promo rate.
Following week got new statement...promo rate gone and 181 in interest plus 24 in late fees.
Phoned again. Was told promo would be reinstated and direct debit was cancelled as the amount on statement was wrong. Made a manual payment.
But they did take the large payment by DD on top.
I can't see what promo rate I will be on next statement.
So stressed.

If you have the app, Virgin have "live" chat. Politely (and briefly) outline what happened and politely request that they reinstate your promo offer "As a gesture of goodwill". If you're a first-timer of previous good behaviour, you stand a good chance. Good luck. BiB xDF0
