Look for a local company with good recommendations.

Are you fitting yourself or getting a trades person to fit?

I'd highly recommend DIY Kitchens. I've always used Ikea Kitchens in the past but a friend of ours bought their kitchen from DIY Kitchens and it's fantastic quality...we are definitely buying our next kitchen from there.

The best bit is all the units come pre assembled.

I'm guessing you're not up to doing a pocket door yourself. We considered one for our bathroom but decided against it when the potential problems and cost were pointed out by the company we chose to do the bathroom.

They definitely used to but just looked and can't see them on their site. When they used to do them they called them sliding/folding doors.

What were the issues please? I'm hopefully getting my bathroom done soon and was thinking about investigating a pocket door. I saw a company called rocket doors that makes it look pretty simple and not particularly expensive. I did wonder if they sounded too good to be true?!

We didn't want to sacrifice space inside the bathroom, so the pocket would have to be built on the outside wall. There is wiring inside the partition walls on both sides of the doorway with switches on the outside. So one of those would have to be rerouted. Then you've got refitting the carpet and redecorating outside the bathroom. It turned out we could accommodate the door opening into the bathroom without losing essential space. After all, people don't use the bathroom with the door open!
If we really want a pocket door, it could be added at a later date, but I don't think we will.
