Deferred pensions

I have deferred taking my pension for 8 years. Is it safe?
If I die before I begin to draw it, will it become part of my estate? The gov website only says that it may.

State Pension?
DB pension?
DC pension?
A bit more detail would help you get some meaningful responses.0 -
Do you mean state pension?
When exactly did you reach State Pension Age?0 -
State pension. Same question was asked last year: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6380359/deferred-state-pension#latest
Same link applies: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/deferring-your-state-pension/state-pension-deferral-if-you-reached-state-pension-age-before-6-april-2016-and-you-die-extra-information
OP - if you read the link carefully, you'll see that it gives clear guidance, despite the use of the word 'may' ( you need to read that in the context of the information on the link).Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1
