TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Bauer Media x Sky Protect” (the “Competition”).

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside  our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail. 

 

1.ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS	Entries are restricted to one entry per person.   Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:   Online at: https://planetradio.co.uk/absolute-radio/ https://planetradio.co.uk/greatest-hits/competitions/ https://planetradio.co.uk/magic/   Online entry is free of charge.
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	The Online Competition will be using a shared prize fund between Greatest Hits Network UK, Magic FM and Absolute Radio.   There will be one winner of the online competition.  The winner will be selected from all those that correctly answer the competition question on the relevant online pages.    All valid entries will be pooled and the online winner will be chosen by electronic random draw on Monday 26th  June.
3. ENTRY PERIOD	Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:   From 02/06/2023 at 00:01 (the “Start Time”) to 22/06/2023 at 23:59 (“End Time”).   Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.    Winner Announcement: The winner’s first name and hometown are available on request by emailing win@bauermedia.co.uk   However if the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days from the date of the initial attempt to contact them, then we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in our sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.  Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms. If you or any other person at your household has won a prize valued at £500 or more on any Bauer brand in the past 6 months, you nor they are not eligible to enter or win this competition. 5. THE PRIZE

One winner will receive the following prize (the “Prize”):   Prize package includes:    Prize package for 2 adults and 2 under-16s includes: Return flights from London to Brussels, including taxes, fees and one item of hand luggage per person  4-day hire of a rental car departing from and returning to Brussels 3 nights’ accommodation in a fairytale inspired family glamping cabin in Belgium, including daily breakfast Family admission to a forest park, including treetop walkway experience Family admission to a hedge labyrinth  Family admission to an underground grotto including river ride  £250 spending money Travel insurance.     The Prize is provided by tpf on behalf of Sky [ES1] (the “Prize Provider”). We are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery or a prize winner being unable to take up any aspect, or the entirety of the prize due to their own circumstances or restrictions.    The Prize will be subject to the Prize Conditions (as defined below)    The following terms shall apply to the Prize (the “Prize Conditions”): a) Winners must redeem the prize within a year. Prize terms and conditions: Economy flights available from major international airports in London only; Flights will be selected by Prize Provider and not all routings will be available; Winner and guests must have full passport valid for at least 6 months at time of travel; Any necessary visas are responsibility of winner and guests; A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into accommodation; Accommodation is based on two adults and two under-16s sharing one glamping cabin; Accommodation will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; Travel insurance is subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companions to ensure the travel insurance meets their demands and needs, to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companions are aged 70 or over. The Promoter will not give any advice or recommendation as to the suitability of the travel insurance for the winner and/or the guests. Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable; No cash alternative is available; All prize elements are subject to availability; The prize cannot be taken from 21st December – 2nd January (Christmas and New Year), over UK bank holidays or over Easter Sunday; The prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and travel must be booked and completed within that time frame; All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; Once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended; At least one traveller must be aged over 18; For car hire, the named driver must be aged 21 or over, with a full clean driving license. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

1. MISCELLANEOUS. 

 

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call. 
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route. 
• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.
