I had a CCJ issued when it was still in the 5yr rule period i.e. came off your credit file after 5yrs.  Is this going to stay the same and get removed in 6 months or is it going to stay on my credit file for a further year?  It was paid off 2yrs ago.
Many thanks

It will fall off your credit file 5years (Scotland) and 6 years (if in England) after it was put on the file.

I'm not aware there was ever a 5-year rule regarding the credit file.

ccjs drop off 6 years after the judgement date.

Have you had it marked settled?

Its 6 years in all of the United Kingdom.

You are mixing it up with the limitation period in Scotland which is 5 years.
