***DCBL LIMITED LETTER OF CLAIM***

On the 06/05/2023 i received this LETTER OF CLAIM from DCBL LIMITED giving me 30 days to reply,

Short story,
The company TUI where the car park ticket was issued by UKPC is NO LONGER THERE and has closed down a good while ago, and this letter of claim is for a parking ticket from at least 4 years ago
I sold this car long time ago whilst at one of my previous addresses

Should i continue ignoring DCBL until paper comes through for court proceedings from DCBL LIMITED?

Because I have read that even if it did go to court the DCBL LIMTED don't win anyway,

Is this correct as of now?

Also what is the best line of defence at this stage?

And should I continue ignoring DCBL LIMITED?

Thank you people

A LoC will not have been issued by DCB Limited, it's from DCB Legal a separate entity, albeit part of the DCBL stable.

You need to deal with the LoC as advised in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post.

Forget 'DCBL LIMTED' it's DCB Legal who issue court proceedings.

Also what is the best line of defence at this stage?

All in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post, and Template Defence Announcement (get ahead of the game and read through them), but you await a formal court claim before you get a defence underway.

And should I continue ignoring DCBL

There is no further slack to allow you to ignore anything now you're approaching the business end of the game. However, don't despair, because there is definitely positive light at the end of the tunnel - but not a reason for complacency - please have a read of the following thread.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I posted only last night what to do when you get a DCBLegal LBC.  You can find it in my replies in my profile, so please don't ask us to find it or link it.

It does NOT include getting a SAR.
