Respond to the LoC using the advice in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post.

Whilst it's early days in your case, I thought I'd also draw your attention to this fairly recent thread which you might have not yet seen. You must keep going through all the necessary court procedure phases, but the hope is that your case will follow the same pattern as all those detailed in the thread.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Read any other DCBLegal UKPC claim thread as we have had over a hundred threads exactly like yours, this year alone.

@general_cosgrave  these are dead easy to defend when the inevitable court claim arrives.

But you may be able to get it cancelled by PALS or the CEO of the NHS Trust, so prioritise that!

At this stage, respond to DCB Legal by email and deny the debt; say you have now complained to the Hospital about this harassment because the ticket was issued whilst parked in west middlesex hospital when the keeper's wife was having an emergency blood transfusion post-childbirth.

    AND COMPLAIN TO PALS IMMEDIATELY!

DO NOT SEND A SAR TO ANYONE.

  • Thankyou , i have taken your advice and emailed west mid hospital PALS  and DcBL denying the debt.
  • PALS have emailed me back to say the charges have been cancelled . Do i contact DCBL to inform them or what now.

Thanks so much for the advice , i would never even have thought to contact PALS.

Yes - email (forward) PALS reply to DCBL and tell them to go swivel.

    So glad it worked.
ALWAYS complain to landowners first, about parking firms.

At retail parks that's Store Managers and/or managing agents for the site, and with NHS sites it is PALS or the CEO of the NHS Trust.

Easy to cancel. Should have done it earlier but you'll know next time!

Got confirmation from Dcbl that charges dropped. thanks for the help .

Great news!  Easy when you know how, innit?!

Hope you are also coming back to take part in the upcoming Government Public Consultation on ending rip-off parking charges?  Anticipated over this Summer.
