No Direct debits showing after switching to NatWest?

Switched over to NatWest a few days ago and when I go into my account on the app and click on Direct Debits a message pops up saying ‘there are no direct debits setup on this account’.  Does this mean there’s been a problem with the switch and they haven’t switched over?

They only show on Natwest once they've been paid out for the first time.

These aren’t new DD’s they are reoccurring direct debits which I switched over from another bank which I thought would show in my account or is that because it’s a new account they don’t show until they’ve been payed out like you say.
  • They won't show up on the App until they've paid out from NatWest. They'll be there - just invisible for now.

@changearound1 is correct. CS can confirm if you need to.

That's an unexpected side-effect of switching to NatWest with DDs, didn't know that, but I would think the majority on here are biting on the incentive bait without DDs. When I switched to Nationwide all the DDs and payments were visible before the switch completed.

Usually banks send a letter with a list of the switched DDs and SOs. Don't remember about Natwest specifically.
