P45 and redundancy

I have worked at my current company for 10 years but have discovered that 2 years ago I was issued with a P45 and re hired as a new employee.
This coincided with the time  I requested to work part time for a period of 3 months to pursue other projects which was all agreed to , however I didnt agree to getting a P45 and re-hired.

I have pay slips every month for  10 years
So the question is how do I stand regarding redundancy.

I don't understand . You were given a p45 and they retired but you didn't agree with it.
Do you not remember any of it
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Were you definitely rehired by the same employer?

For example were you originally employed by say "MSE Forums" but are now employed by "MSE Forums Ltd".

Your P60's should show your employer's name.

What correspondence was there regarding the change in hours?

For redundancy purposes, you will have continuity of employment (for the 10 years) if there was no actual break in employment - that is that, for example you finished working full-time one Friday and began the reduced hours the following week.

The only thing I noticed was that on my payslip  my employee number had changed which alerted me to the problem.
That could be due to any number of reasons e,g. could identify F/T from P.T or general changing the employee number for all employees.

    Is redundancy on the horizon?
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

Yes it's not looking good, but it will be bankruptcy of the company rather than just myself being made redundant , so i guess my redundancy payment will come from the government at least in part, so that's who I will have to prove my 10 years to.
