Anyone knows of a cheap and cheerful hotel / B&B in Edinburgh - planning to spend new year's eve in the city.

Very little chance of getting anything cheap in Edinburgh at any time, but Hogmanay is an especially expensive time. There are a couple of city centre Traelodges, but I would guess they were all booked months ago.
