POPLA appeal

Hi

I am looking to appeal via POPLA after having two unsuccessful parking fine appeals. The fines were for consecutive weeks, parking at the same place when using the facilities. My registration was entered into the iPad system provided, I was with a friend who witnessed this and I submitted my received as proof of using the facilities within the time frame the ANPR has stated me entering and leaving. I have no proof of entering my details into the iPad system, as I didn’t think I would need to take photographic evidence.

has anyone had the same issue and have they been successful in their independent appeal review?

Many thanks

You will struggle to win at POPLA.

Instead, complain to the Managing Agents who run the retail park that their agent's iPad system has failed you twice and you desperately need them to cancel these unfair PCNs which will drive you away for good.

  • I complained to the manager and said it was nothing to do with them as they did not install the parking eye system. It was the cricket club, as it is their land. Manager of cricket club is also not very helpful

Which PPC?  Hmmmm you could possibly win at POPLA by arguing the ipad failure was a keying error as defined in the BPA CoP and the PPC failed to offer to settle at £20.
