No parking, Euro Car Parks - stopped for 3-4 mins for emergency 25 February at 2:49PM in Parking tickets, fines & parking 1 reply 48 views

I stopped briefly for 3-4 mins at the exit of the petrol garage/mcdonalds at Gatwick. It was a double yellow line but my father has a stoma bag and I had to briefly stop for him to sort his bag out (can't do it whilst driving as it could spill!) I put my hazards on and I got out the car to run round the corner to put his waste in a bin but was there under 5 mins total. What's the likelihood Euro Car Parks will send me a penalty? Is there a 10 min grace period?
