ParkingEye PCN / DCBL Final Notice

2 Posts

I only just found this forum and need help on what I should do now and next.
Please excuse my ignorance or any perceived stupidity - I read the newbies section and tried delving deeper but there is so much information I got a bit confused.
Driver was in different city (150 miles away), parked near shopping retail park - paid for ticket (lost it), overstayed 20 mins.
1. Received parking charge letter from from ParkingEye last year to pay £100.
2. Appealed online - didn't state driver , said not paying - no contract/agreement, didn't see signs.
3. Received email of reduced offer of £20 - didn't pay.
4. Received Notice of debt Recovery letter from DCBL in Dec 2022 to pay £170. Called them saying not paying and to tell their client to take it to court.
5. Received second letter from DCBL in Jan 2023 to pay £170. Called them saying not paying and to tell their client to take it to court.
6. Received Final notice of debt recovery letter from DCBL in Feb 15th 2022 to pay £170.
What is the best course of action now? Please remember
Thank you in advance.

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
