Energy Bills Support Scheme question
If our British gas bill is paid quarterly by meter reading will the government payments get taken off the bill automatically? I know it says online they are credited to the account but do you have to indicate that you want it taken off the balance? I ask because we pay the bill through my partners mother (live in her house whilst she lives elsewhere) and she's not very forthcoming with the details. I want to make sure we are seeing the benefit. Thanks
