Auto save apps

Hi, I've been using chip & it's been a great help to save but now I notice I'm getting 45p charge on every save which really mounts up! Are there any free apps that come recommended?

AFAIK, they all charge you somehow or other. Either with explicit charges like CHIP, or with dreadful interest rates, or both.

You get a much better deal if you pro-actively put money aside. E.g. x% of your take-home pay directly into one of the many savings accounts (CHIP have got one of the currently best ones @3.05%, and that 100% free of charge), and you can add any other spare cash you may have, at a time that suits you.

Thank you. I have  a chase account that I pay a regular amount into, I used the auto save for treats as the amounts they take are small enough I don't notice it & creates a nice surprise every few months!

That's the difference between me and you - I am not surprised to find money in my savings accounts, I am not paying anyone to surprise me [with less than exciting savings rates], and I do notice each and every penny that leaves my current accounts. Each to their own, though.
