Scottish Power nightmare
Hi does anyone know the best way to get Scottish Power to do something simple, after several calls and emails they still haven't opened a dual fuel account for me which is turning into an absolute nightmare for me as my account has £700 credit its showing as closed and they have opened up 2 gas accounts for me by error!

It will be refunded after you get your final bill. Why did you allow so much credit to build up?No free lunch, and no free laptop

Usual way to get any supplier to do their job is raise it as a complaint:
https://www.scottishpower.co.uk/support-centre/complaints
Then take it to the ombudsman if they don't rectify it within 8 weeks of you raising the complaint.
Or as already said, ditch them and switch to another supplier.0 -
OP,I wont go into any detail here but do leave Scottish Power at the earliest opportunity possible, you've seen for yourself their absolutely incapable of even a simple task.
Due to them being totally incompetent even after following the Scottish Power complaint procedures, you'll almost certainly need Ombudsman involvment to address anything, save yourself the time and effort by moving elsewhere.
