Euro car park fine

I received a parking notification from euro car parks which is fine if in the wrong id pay it but we moved house, the letter went to my old house I received it on the 9th Jan and stated if paid by 23rd Dec I could pay the discounted price of £50 anything after that would be £90 up to the 11th jan I've tried looking for a number to discuss this with euro car parks but can't find one only an automated one which says you have to write in to discuss anything, I did find an email on the 10th and gave that a try explained the situation and got a response on the 11th Jan saying it will be passed on to which I replied my last day to pay is 11th and have not received any response

When did you update your V5C with the DVLA?  Was it after the alleged parking event?  This could explain why it went to the old address.  You need to send a Data Rectification Notice to the DPO of PPC giving your correct address for service and requiring them to erase your old data and inform all and any of the agents and subcontractors.  All this information is available in the NEWBIE sticky, did you miss it when you read that?

    It is not a fine.

Note that it is essential to use the word erase as advised above by Le_Kirk as it has a specific meaning with regards to personal data.

What happened when the keeper complained to the landowner and their MP? That is always Plan A.

Where did the alleged event occur? It might have cropped up here before.

Why? Just trying to understand why so many people think they have to pay private parking charges.

last day to pay is 11th
No, it's not! Still isn't.  Still won't be a 'time to pay' when you get £170 demand from a scum debt collector.  You can safely ignore that.

Right-thinking people don't pay these scams (AT ALL) all the time that the rogue parking industry is unregulated (another year or so).  Things will change for the better with Govt regulation & scrutiny but at the moment the industry is rotten.

    Actions for you:

    - Update your logbook with the DVLA.

    - Confirm your correct address to ECP (demand they 'erase the old one') and also in that email ask for a SAR (see the second post of the NEWBIES thread).

    - Get the retailer/landowner to cancel the PCN by complaining to them about this harassment.

    - Read the NEWBIES thread first, please.

    - DO NOT PHONE AND DO NOT PAY IT.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
