    Thank you. Is a residual beneficiary the people who get what’s left once the named beneficiaries are given their nominated amounts?
    Exactly - could be one person or split between several.

    Residual beneficiaries have the right to see the estate accounts - so there can be some check on what you’ve done but they may not ask to. 
  • Ok. The only residuals are me and my sister and we are both executors so have seen every step through so far :-)
