NTK for incorrect reg entered by me.

Hi,
I'm looking for some advice on if / how I should appeal based on a human error by myself. I have received a notice for £60, extending to £100 after 14 days.
I'll try and include as much detail as possible.
The car park is run by IPS, it has both CCTV and ANPR in operation.
I parked for an hour, in a rush, i went online on my phone as I usually do and paid for the parking before proceeding to park with my partners car for an hour. In doing so, little did I realise until I received the notice, I have selected the incorrect registration plate - what I mean by this is I didn't type it in, as 2 registrations show up on my phone when I select the registration box, both my old car's and my partner's registration and ofcourse I've picked the wrong one..
The ANPR photos and stated times on the notice displays my arrival and leaving both within the time on the receipt that I paid for, however it doesn't display the correct registration as I entered the incorrect one. My old car (the registration entered) was sold in December and we both share the same car so it's impossible to have driven this which the sale was also registered with the DVLA. The ANPR and CCTV can also prove that I parked just within the restrictions and that no other vehicle of wrong registration entered the car park.
I adhered to all the rules except 1 human error on the payment which I have all of the evidence for.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks Coupon just read that, I thought about doing so, but I was under the impression the Scotland transport act 2019 gave them rights to chase for keeper liability or has it all changed? I understand there are new laws coming in regards the charges and appeals which is very much welcomed.
Should I try contact the hotel first (which the land is owned by) and explain my situation and see if I can get them to cancel it?0 -
but I was under the impression the Scotland transport act 2019 gave them rights to chase for keeper liability or has it all changed? It is a part of the Transport Act that is NOT YET ACTIVE - it is currently still 'on hold' until such time as this new Code is in place and the proper appeals service (I reckon 2024).
You DO NOT have keeper liability yet.
The lack of clarity is explained here:

Certainly try Hotel cancellation but no saying who parked! You aren't liable, remember, so no blabbing about the driver...
Then ignore it if the Hotel are useless.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yeah the lack of clarity pretty much explains it. Spot on, I'll be careful, try them tomorrow and if no luck ignore.
