Unclear about an EE debt

As some of you know I sent a letter last week directly to EE asking for a write off as Arvato was not listening to me. Today I contacted them via the chat just to check they got the letter and I got this answer and I don’t understand what it means or what I need to do now. So if anyone can clarify I would be thankful

You don't have to continue paying.
The phrase 'DCA closure the balance at some time in the future write off,' although not grammatically correct, means that they have ceased to pursue the debt.
It will remain as showing on your credit file until it drops off and technically it still is a debt if, for instance, an executor had to deal with your affairs.
But they have accepted your medical situation and won't be asking you to repay it.2 -
