Living in Swansea West Glamorgan, I struggle with the current energy company for my area, I'm on on a pre-pay meters for the gas and electricity with a company called boost. They won't give me smart meters so I can too up with my mobile. Aswell as monitoring of my available credit. So I've tried to change company but I can't get one who supplies this area.  How can I move or get a smart meter for my gas

Suppliers are national, why are you unable to switch? Who have you tried to switch to? Do you have debt on the meters?
Boost promote both smart meters and an app on their website, though there is a shortage of installers in some areas.

You may have to give energy companies a call rather than do it online at present, due to the current situation, but they all should cover your area.

There is a shortage of smart meters that affects all suppliers.

You might get lucky to find a supplier that is able to give you one sooner than others, but you will need to

- call every single supplier to find out
- find out if the supplier even wants you as a new customer, most suppliers are not really interested
