Hi. Most of us have the £66 per month electricity grant for government until end of March. However, folks in Park Homes often do not, as they pay everything fuel - wise to the company who owns the park.

my mother is one of those people. Apparently she and her neighbours will be able to apply at some point this month ,but it seems rather vague.

does anyone know anything about the applications or where to go? Thanks in advance.

Nothing has been published how the application process will work or when it will exactly start.

We are still at the January 2023 information.

The details of the scheme have not yet been announced, the last update was that they would be available later this month, however I would not be surprised if that slipped. Key things to check, is your mother's park home a residential rather than holiday park, does she pay council tax? If not then there might be wider issues caused by applying.

Latest info on this page, nothing that's not already been said in the thread. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/vital-help-with-energy-bills-on-the-way-for-millions-more-homes-across-great-britain-and-northern-ireland

The key phrase is EBSS Alternative Funding, should you wish to periodically Google it.  "EBSS Alternative Funding gov.uk" would hopefully bring up the portal once it's available, or at least point you in the right direction.
