Hello as above
Currently we are with the Coventry and have an old savings account and I think thay are or will by paying 2.85% and its an online and phone joint account. We are getting a bonus rare as older savers and plan no longer open to new customers. I think we can witdraw any amount up to our holdings 3/4 times a year and no penalty. Its a variable rate
We need to open another account as we have more than protected amounts
I am aware that some banks/BS's/etc share a licence
We are looking for as per title, not fixed but don't mind notice accounts but must be able to open online and use online and phone if possible. This bank/bs must accept online applications as we do have the latest passports etc for verification purposes etc
I hope I have not confused you guys
In summary
Variable account allows joint account
Acccessible via phone and online or online only, No apps.
No fixed terms
Will consider notice accounts
I'm aware we will get less than the Coventry
Thanks

Hiya
I noted a couple of potenital places I may move some of our money to
Not too much on this on the web
Buckinghamshire Building Society - its been around over a hundred years and as far as i can see, it has the financial protection.
Any views, please?
I'm also looking up two others on the web but they have a lot more info
Thanks0 -
I don't believe in changing accounts like Scrooge every time a higher rate comes along every 5 minutes. So I have a list of about half a dozen savings accounts that are normally very competitive and come back up to the top 5 during any given year. The best Joint Accounts via online are, in my view, ( in order of speed and efficiency) : Marcus Bank, RCI Bank, Virgin, Shawbrook Bank. Hope it's of some help to O/P. A lot of people miss the advantages of Joint Accounts. And the increasing incidence of app-only accounts is a real nuisance IMHO ( and seemingly diystarter agrees). Good luck with your joint savings.0
