Crete - places for young-ish ppl

Hi am hoping to go to crete early next year as a group of girls in 20's and was wondering if it would be a good place for some girls who wants some sun in day and clubs at night!

Also want to spend about £350 pp for a week flights and hotel is that realistic???

TIA

xx

Went to Malia in Crete in the summer, sounds just like what you are looking for, plenty of nightlife. I got two weeks in September for under your budget, so your budget should be fine!
  • Hi,
We used to stay in nearby Stalis which is just up the coast from Malia, Stalis is a little quieter than Malia but the beachfront road makes the 2 easy to get between, there's plenty of bars, resteraunts and shops on this road and it makes a nice walk.
Make an effort to get into Malia old town accross the main road at the top end of Malia for a drink or meal.
We used to always used to book with Kosmar, due to them offering cheap no frills family run accomodation.. if you don't mind not having a pool you can save loads.

Dunno about Stalis - I liked it (and I'm a non-clubbing "oldie"...). Malia seems to be The Place (as featured on TV) - you should be able to get a decent week for £350 (quieter places do fortnights for less), season is generally May to October, would avoid July/August unless you get aircon included.
