Pls see photos. Not really sure what's causing this so don't know how to fix it. Any ideas? 

I live in Victorian semi and this door is between bathroom on the left and kitchen on the right. I also included a photo from the outside. Can't see any leaks etc.

Could be just a cold spot, the problem is once the plaster has gone and salts start appearing on it then it'll just attract more damp and go until you've hacked it off and re-plastered. Also the metal corner edging is starting to rust, hence the brown colour and that too would likely need replacing.

With the bags of compost you've got in the picture I assume you like to dump stuff in that particular corner. I'd avoid doing that as it'll only makes things worse.
