Could anyone explain why EDF are charging £0.506p per KwH when the government has set the cap at £0.34p per KwH?

    Welcome to the forum.
What's the name of the tariff?  It's not shown in their list of current EPG Prices.
Is there a separate line in the bill showing a rebate?
Is it an Economy 7 day rate (which is offset by a much lower night rate)?
    Rates vary regionally.

Either: you are on a fix where the EPG reduction still leaves the price above the 34p, OR EDF aren't - you've missed the bit on the bill where it makes the alteration - possibly by crediting back the amount over the EPG rate?
