Court Action Help

Hi, thanks for accepting. Hoping someone can help. I got a car on finance back in 2019, really bad APR because my credit was bad, but had no choice at the time. I was paying £200 a month for 3 years, over the summer I just couldn’t afford it anymore so cancelled my DD. Ignored them until last month when I contacted them to try and set up a lower monthly payment. I told them I wasn’t working but I am. They said it’s too late and already due a county court hearing in Dec. I asked what can I do to avoid court, they said pay £450 per month, which just isn’t possible. Do I have a chance pleading my case at county court or do they always rule in favour of the lender? I don’t want to attend the hearing, is it possible just to email them a witness statement? Thanks in advance

What has happened to the car?
What type of finance was it, and has it been re-possessed, what is the status with that?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
