Items not delivered

Hi. I bought 2 iPhone 14 pros from carphone warehouse (Currys). They were meant to be delivered by DPD. Apparently they got delivered at 5pm ish and had been signed for by me.  Obviously that didn't happen . I called DPD the next day and was told, a picture wasn't taken at my door and they will start an investigation. The DPD guy said the items were never delivered to them and that I need to speak to Currys. Currys started an investigation and said they had been delivered and I need to speak to DPD and have closed the investigation saying it's now a civil matter between DPD and me. DPD have closed the investigation because they no say the items were delivered correctly .  DPD will no longer speak to me because i'am not the customer and someone from Currys need to ask to raise an investigation with their platinum team. Last time I rung Currys they couldn't find my name, address or order number and have stopped replying to my emails .
Bank can't do anything for 30 days . It was a debit card 🤦. Citizens advice have given me a letter template to send to Currys . Police have said it's not a police matter . Apart from wait to see what the bank can do . Is there anything I can do ?

    Whilst DPD may well be to blame (or not) they are correct in saying you are not their customer. Your contract is with Currys. Although Currys do not have the best reputation for customer service, I am amazed that they are trying to fob you off in that way.

    Generally it is far better (and quicker in the long run) to deal with this sort of issue in writing (email) than by phone so that you have a complete record of what was said and when.
