Think i posted in the wrong forum earlier so i do apoligise for a double post.
Hi can anyone advise im posting for someone for advice who doesnt know how to use online forums for advice etc. they receuved a letter stating unatharised parking fine , from there knowledge there were still in car and in the photo you can see the car lights still on aswel. It states parking is for residents only on the signs. Can they argue this also the fact they didnt reveive a first letter just the second one stating they owe £100 and cant appeal unless they have a really valid reason. ? Any advice is appreciated.

For starters, help with detail. Which PPC. What exactly are they saying is the cause of the PCN, and how long do they say the vehicle was parked for.The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.1

Please also check that the letter they received really did say "unauthorised parking fine".
I bet the word 'fine' wasn't used at all.
Please don't give these parking companies any more authority and respect than they deserve.
Feel free to edit your post on the Motoring Board so that is reads something like "Duplicate thread - please ignore".1 -

They dont seem to have an email on the letter apart from the data protection officer email? Do they just email this email or write to them with the sar?0

Perfect, you submit the SAR to the DPO. No need to attach photo evidence just a copy of the keeper's V5C and copy of the letter received as that should prove the keeper lives where they do!1
