Hi all
Going to send a prove it letter from here https://debtcamel.co.uk/prove-it/
I seem to remember we had to send a pound with these letters but I cannot find reference to it, am I imagining stuff?
Also, is it OK to email it rather than send it recorded delivery ?
Thanks

The £1 payment has to accompany a formal request for a copy of a credit agreement being made under s77-9 CCA.
If you're just asking a creditor to prove an alleged debt do NOT send any money,1 -
No fee required for a prove it letter.
And please send it in writing so that it doesn't get lost in the myriad of non-answered emails banks receive every day.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
