My mum paid for a funeral plan quite a few years ago … since then she has moved twice and changed bank accounts etc.  She cannot remember who the plan was with and she can’t find the correspondence….. how can we find anything out ?  There apparently is a register but it’s not live as yet !  There must be a lot of companies that just take the money and then never get used !  Can anyone help or suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

I have a plan with Dignity. In with the paperwork there was a form to return if a change of address happened. When I moved I sent this off and there was a response from them acknowledging the change.
Old bank statements, chequebook stubs? As you are probably aware a lot of companies did not go forward with this years new regulations so you may have to wait for the register.
