Wrong Account Details??.

The DWP have sent a letter saying my husband will get £ for the Winter Fuel Payment. He did have a P.O.Accout for his benefits which closed automatically as the Government contract ended. He was then switched to a Payment Card which he uses at the Post Office. The letter he received this morning mentions an account number (shoes last 4)  but no numbers match that on his Payment card and seems.to be as long as a normal bank or building society. It looks like the wrong account number. Should we contact the DWP or wait, he normally gets the payment middle-of- November?? THANKS
