Morning gutter experts,I’m afraid I’m back already with another issue.
This time the bottom curved part corner downpipe (?) came away in front of my eyes in heavy rain. Tried to fix it back but aware it’s not at the right angle. It was the only way it would stay on.
Should there be a connector of some kind?
Pics attached, one from above as well.

I’m waiting to hear back from a roofer about redoing the lead corner work and other parts. He can’t understand why it’s been done that way, but that’s another story…
Any advice gratefully received, as ever.

It's held by friction, but you can add a small screw through it if it falls again.Direction - looks OK, but you know better. See how the water flows during heavy rain.View from the top - I have now idea what's going on there, especially why a piece of led is blocking the gutter.1

Thanks for the reply. That’s good to know.grumbler said:It's held by friction, but you can add a small screw through it if it falls again.Direction - looks OK, but you know better. The lead in the gutter is there to presumably catch the gushing water from the downpipe foot - A poor way of doing it. The downpipe from above should have been positioned directly above the lower level gutter, and the foot turned 90°. Wouldn't have needed the lead in the gutter, and could have done a neater job with the flashing..
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Thanks, appreciate the reply. That makes much more sense and sounds like what the roofer said he would do, if I’m remembering correctly.FreeBear said:The lead in the gutter is there to presumably catch the gushing water from the downpipe foot - A poor way of doing it.
