The one linked does not seem very exciting. It costs £103.45. In about 9 months it gives you £100+£6.5 so a net profit of £3.05 or as a % of cost that is 2.9%. Is it worth the hassle? Are there any charges?1

If I read HL correctly I think overall the charge is 1% yearly about 0.5% each between platform and hsbc.Linton said:The one linked does not seem very exciting. It costs £103.45. There would be a trading fee and then their standard capped custody fee (no charge for Fund & Share account) for exchange traded investments. Why take on any default risk, when you can get a FSCS protected fixed term account paying a higher return?0
