Hi, I've been a faithful user of YNAB for many years and I love it. However, this year is my first year of it about to cost £85 and I just doing think I can justify the money.

Are there any free versions at all? I really like the wealth tracking bits as
it reminds me to check my pensions/isa every year. Or any templates etc I could use?

You might be better off posting on one of the more financial boards.

I had no idea what YNAB meant - You Need A Budget.

Have you ever used the classic version of ynab - ynab 4, I think it was called. If you have then you can still use that, I understand that if you purchased it from either apple, Google play or steam it should still be available to download in your history.

If not I'm not 100% sure if it's still available via ynab themselves, I do know they stopped updating the ynab 4 many years ago.

Other than that, you could try googling ynab 4 downloads, there are a few out there but how much you trust them is up to you.

Jaded Angel - I did used to use YNAB 4 but found it for too clunky.

Pollycat - thank you. I'm looking into MoneyDashboard if anyone has any thoughts on that.
