Asking agency for new position within same firm

Am currently WFH in a job in a data entry role which is expected to run until middle of next year. Have seen online advertised a position for a similar role, which is with the same agency, and also the same hiring company. Only difference is this would involve instead working on site and also pays slightly more. Would it be a good idea to enquire to the agency about applying for this position? This would also be a temporary contract. I love the work and the people on the team, but it just feels like the last few weeks there;s been little work to do and need a new challenge, and also doesn't involve working at home.

'A good idea' in what respect? If you don't ask, they are unlikely to approach you, so if you're interested it's probably the only idea! Good luck.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
