I'm trying to open a Barclays account in order to then open the new savings account at 5%. However, because of my salary Barclays app won't let me open the bog standard account, instead it is "offering" me the Premier account, and I can't open a standard account unless I go into branch   The premier account costs £20 per month unless you pay in £3330 per month.
So.....my question....can I pay that in from another account of my own and then pay it straight out again. Will that comply with the account T&Cs. I've done this with other accounts in the past with minimum monthly pay ins but I'm not quite sure with this one
