Child Benefit Tax - FT salary over 50k but work part time - do I have to pay tax?

I hope someone can clarify as the gov website doesn't explicitly confirm.

I have recently been promoted and my full time salary is over 50K, however I work part time so my actual earnings are under 50k.

Am I eligible to pay tax in this situation?

Thanks in advance.

    The guidance is very clear.

Its paid on the annual income of you or partner.  If this exceeds £50k the charge kicks in.

Income is your salary plus any other income you receive.

HICBC isn't based on your "salary".

You need to consider your adjusted net income, which will start with your taxable pay (usually your P60 pay figure) plus any other taxable income you receive such as interest (ignoring ISA's).
