v11 fixed rate was not applied
I signed up to Eon Next's V11 on the 1st March this year after Martin's tip off. On the day the website was down and i called up and they applied the offer over the phone. My bill rose from £250 per month to £366 !! but it was a price i would have to pay so i didn't have to worry about further increases for a year or so.
Yesterday i received an email from Eon next saying my DD would be going up to £432.49 from next month?!! i expected it to go down because of the government assistance. I starting to look into it and i was put on a net Flex variable not the V11 we agreed over the phone.
I've even got whatsapp messages to friends the day i fixed encouraging to fix on the V11 as i had just done it over the phone! I know i'm not going mad!!! Looking on twitter other people are having the same issue, it's caused me no end of stress today and i was on the phone to them for an hour today where ive been told they will look into it and let me know if they can find the recording of my phone call! Why would i have chose to go from £250 to £366 per month on a variable over the phone? i would have just stayed on the variable, i would have only have phoned to fix as everyone else did that day!!
I'm fuming.

You haven't checked for nearly seven months which tariff you switched to?5

no, i was paying £250 a month and was told by switching to the V11 it would be £366 a month thereafter which it has been every month since. i only looked into it yesterday after getting an email to say its's going up, i thought how can it go up if I've fixed for a year? It' looks like this is happening to others too looking at twitter.[Deleted User] said:You haven't checked for nearly seven months which tariff you switched to?0 -

E.ON Next Online V11 was fixed at the same price as the April cap, so until now you will have been paying the same rate on the SVT. It's onlly from October than you'll be saving money.N. But have you not checked your bills since or had any confirmation emails at the time?
Your DD amount is NOT your tariff.

i can remember the day like it was yesterday, the website was down i called up waited for an age. Agreed to go on the V11 fixed for 1 year at £366 per month. I then told my friends who were struggling with the website to call up as they would honour it over the phone. I've got several whatsapp messages that day to back up what i'm saying. Someone at Eon has massively f@@ked up here, i'm not alone as speaking to several people via twitter who have exactly the same thing happen to them.QrizB said:Welcome to the forum. Why would i have chose to go from £250 to £366 per month on a variable over the phone? i would have just stayed on the variable, i would have only have phoned to fix as everyone else did that day!

honestly no i've never looked at the tariff on the bills email because i know i fixed it on the v11. i just check its £366 as agreed.

Have you got any messages from E.ON? Or an email telling you the terms of your new tariff? Or an acknowledgement that you have switched?dlawly74 said:

I know that if I'd thought I had signed up for a contract over the phone, I would look for some sort of written confirmation somewhere.0 -

Well you thought you had 😉
If you look now, at your bills since, do they all say Next Flex?

naively i disnt check it, as the amounts matched up i just assumed it was right as agreed over the phone. I trusted them but clearly someone their end has messed up. I've got the date/time of phone call and all calls are recorded so i've asked for a copy of the recording to prove they've messed up.

But DD cost is not the same as tariff details. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. I hope you get the recordings and they say what you think they do.dlawly74 said:
