DWP Debt recovery nightmare

Hello
Has anyone managed to stop the DWP recovering debt from your employer? I got a letter from DWP saying they were going to arrest my wages. I am currently in a secured trust deed. I didn't know i owed DWP the money, however the owner of my trust deed agreed this debt would be included as part of that action. They have sent the paperwork to DWP twice. DWP still threatened to arrest my wages. I have also sent my documents via recorded post to the DWP address i have proof of delivery and a month down the line again i'm back to square one. DWP have told my HR to arrest my wages.
The wages arrestment will cause me financial difficuluty as due to the current situation i'm maxed out as i can be with my outgoings. This will definitely leave me in a worse situation. You can't send any paperwork via email, you can't do anything over the phone you can only send stuff to an address. I'm at my wits end about this. Any advice?
