Bereavement support payment

Does anyone know when they are going to extend the bereavement support payment to unmarried couple with children also does the child have to be deceased biological child

According to this Turn2us document it is available to unmarried couples who have children together so unfortunately I don’t think it applies in this case although it eight be worth contacting them for advice.
