Hi I lost my car keys no spares phoned insurance company who say they need to change locks incase someone finds keys and steals car I it’s a vw golf 13 plate I phoned vw garage who quoted me 310 for new key programming it will cost a lot more to change locks get new keys tried telling them that but passed me from one person to another vw dealer said it’s crazy wanting to go through all that my policy states I’m covered for new locks and keys with 100 pound excess don’t know what to do now
