Morning,

I've had multiple (late teens so far) emails from Halifax since the early hours today telling me that I have a statement to view. It's not exactly the end of the world but they're getting on my wick now. I expected to check this site and see a thread already going but being as there isn't one I'm wondering whether it's just me. The messages do look genuine.

I have had 40 emails over 10hrs starting at just gone midnight and the last one was at 10:33. Halifax say all the emails are genuine and are looking into it. The is no proper apology, nor, at the time of writing, any public announcement!

Yes, it's been quite frustrating. They seem to have stopped coming now, fingers crossed.

I got a string of text messages for payments received, 20k, 10k. It was exciting to see.

Interestingly the phone app wouldn’t permit me to execute a screen shot. And no, the money wasn’t present in my account when I checked.
