Not every offer has to be accepted.
Before accepting this offer, consider whether it is a good one and if it leaves you at risk of future financial difficulty.
Aqua / Newday are not known for competitive offers.

Have used this card no more than 2-3 times.
    Increase offer 1200-1950
Newday generally speaking are very generous with increase offers.
    Interesting decision to make.
Not all that generous when most people have credit cards offering multiple thousands as a starting point.

My AMEX gives me 12k, and I think they're being quite conservative (but I really don't need any more.)

Each to their own, NewDay are considered generous across various cards.
I'll never personally be offered double numbers, though no need to do so.
Looking forward to snowballing until early '23, need to return to 5% or less.
Currently 9% total usage with respect is a Lot whilst only working 20 hrs per week.
12k Amex-that's almost 50% of my total Limits.

    thanks

With the greatest respect, it matters not one jot what percentage of your available credit you are using.  Yes, the CRAs like to see you using a small percentage of available credit, but they are not lenders - their opinion counts for, frankly, nothing.  What really matters is that you are using credit responsibly.  Which means borrowing only what you can afford to repay, and making the most of the benefits that responsible borrowing affords - and that includes clearing credit cards in full every month.
Your long history on this forum would indicate that you steadfastly refuse to understand the principles of sensible credit use, and that you refuse to accept the reams of well-meaning advice offered to you.

MSE Forum Team - I sincerely hope I haven't broken any guidelines by posting this.  But if you have the time to read though this member's posting history, it's little wonder that many long-established members regard him as a spammer or a troll.  I wish him/her no ill-will whatsoever - but I do think they would benefit from some professional financial advice.

Dandy doesn't understand anything financial despite the best efforts of people on here to help him. The obsession with utilisation is a classic example of that - I am not sure how the CRAs calculate things exactly, but his finance on windows (10%), paying interest on his AmEx hence taking money out of a S&S ISA while the market is on the way down just to pay bills, new door (4k!), new kitchen, new curtains, bought an ipad, new iphone, PS5, smart lightbulbs even let alone the second hand EV on car finance which was doing 90 miles (I see he's changed the signature to claim it does 90-100 now!) far from the original range - all must add up so if it's 9% usage, he must have a boat load of credit lines open!

I notice here he states he is working a 20 hour week, as I posted on the S&S ISA post he is at 50% income (due to MS) yet he claimed that was last year, clearly he is still on reduced income as well as struggling to get benefits. If he had followed the card rules and reported a loss in income they would almost certainly cut his limits and stop his spending

I think everyone here is fully aware that they are not a spammer or a troll, they just aren't capable of responsibly managing their finances (or reading the room).

Try dropping my recent past, thankfully I'm only minute contribution to reported uk CC increase of 704Million past month.
Seriously, I'll use savings this time to keep balances minimum.
Percentage's work well for me as miles away from up to whatever past percentage usage.

    thanks

No-one cares about the proportion of UK debt you personally hold, they find you using the forum as a diary to track your continually unwise financial decisions (and complete refusal to listen to anyone) frustrating. Out of genuine curiosity, what's the purpose for doing so?

No one cares indeed, why take time to comment.
Because they care about things other than your personal proportion of UK debt?

But yes, that was indeed my question to you.

I'm interested too @Dandytf - why do you post these? Do you think it's helpful and if so to whom?
